About him

Jerome D’Ambrosio is born in Brussels in 1993. Our Belgian driver made a very strong first season in F1 in 2011 with Marussia Virgin Racing Team with the two best results of his team. He was official 3rd driver for Lotus F1 Team in 2012 with the chance to race as an official driver at Italy GP and Jerome will stay Reserve Driver in 2013 for the same team. Jerome became in 2011 the first “green” F1 driver (races and travels CO2 emissions are fully offset) of the history which is a strong commitment to help motor sport becoming cleaner.

  • 2009 : GP2 Series with DAMS, one 2nd place and two 3rd places – GP2 Series Asia, (vice champion), 2 pole positions, 2 times 2nd and 2 times 3rd
  • 2008 : GP2 Series Asia and GP2 Series (11th in championship)
  • 2007 : Winner of  International Formula Master Championship (5 wins, 11 podiums)
  • 2006 : Euroseries F3000, 5th in the championship
  • 2005 : Italian Formula Renault 2.0, 4th in the championship - Italian Formula Renault 2.0 Winter series, 3rd in the championship
  • 2004 : French Formula Renault 2000 France, 4th in the championship (first Rookie)
  • 2003 : Winner of Formula Renault 1600 Belgium (5 wins)
  • 2002 : Winner of Kart World Cup Formula A
