Lotus F1 Junior Team is a motor sport organisation set up by Gravity Sport Management and Lotus F1 team to find the Kimi Räikkönens and Romain Grosjeans of the future. Its aim is to pick out, support and promote young drivers with the help of private investors.
Lotus F1 Junior Team makes available to its future champions, all the resources necessary to help their self-development including their driving technique, physical fitness training, familiarisation with the economic aspect of motor sport and their relationship with the media by using all the specific tools at their disposal at the Lotus F1 Team factory in Enstone. Thanks to an on-going evaluation and follow-up monitoring system, an individually-tailored programme is created for each member in the programme. The drivers’ participation is automatically renewed when they have achieved their aims at the end of the season. Professional support is financed by new investment channels meaning that Lotus F1 Team will have a solid foundation upon which to nurture emerging motorsport talent.
