Gravity Academy drivers had a good qualifying session at the Norisring today. Marco, Alexander and Jim will start from P3, P4 and P9 respectively for tomorrow’s race. Formula 3 Euro Series championship leader Edoardo Mortara took pole position for race one at the Norisring in a frantic qualifying session.
The Signature driver held the top spot for the majority of the session after setting an impressive early benchmark. But his rivals chipped away at his time as the session wore on, and eventually he was bumped down to third by Valtteri Bottas and Marco Wittmann.

Free practice for the season highlight of the Formula 3 Euro Series at the 2.3 kilometres long Norisring saw Edoardo Mortara (Signature, 0:49.632 minutes) setting the fastest time. The Italian, who came to Nuremberg as the points’ leader, was followed by Alexander Sims (ART Grand Prix, 0:49,737 minutes),Valtteri Bottas (ART Grand Prix, 0:49.754 minutes) and Marco Wittmann (Signature, 0:49.832 minutes) on second to fourth place.

Marco Wittmann (Signature) finished the F3 Masters in third place at the 4.307 kilometres long track in the North Sea dunes of Zandvoort while, in front of a 43’000 strong crowd, Finnish driver Valtteri Bottas (ART Grand Prix) has taken the win.
A slight drizzle set in just before the start of the exciting and action packed race. Apart from Roberto Merhi (Mücke Motorsport), all drivers on the first couple of grid rows opted for slick tyres.
