Gravity Academy drivers Marco Wittmann, Alexander Sims and Jim Pla all scored points after Race 1 at the Nürburgring today. They finished 4th (Alexander), 5th (Marco) and 8th (Jim) respectively.
Meanwhile, Edoardo Mortara (Signature) won the race and strengthened his leading position in the Formula 3 Euro Series. At the Nürburgring sprint circuit, the Italian finished ahead ofLaurens Vanthoor (Signature) and Roberto Merhi (Mücke Motorsport). Mortara now has a margin of 22 points over Marco Wittmann (Signature), who ended up fifth in the race.

Formula 3 Euro Series championship leader Edoardo Mortara narrowly took his third pole position of the season for the first race this weekend at the Nurburgring.
The Signature driver edged ART’s Valtteri Bottas by just 0.017 seconds to take the top spot, while third-placed Laurens Vanthoor (Signature) was also just inside one tenth of a second of pole.
With Mucke’s Roberto Merhi next up in fourth, three teams will be represented on the first two rows of the grid.
