Antonio Felix da Costa took the spoils in the reversed grid race of the Formula 3 Euro Series for the second round in succession with a lights-to-flag win at Zandvoort. The Motopark Academy driver, who took his maiden win at the Nurburgring last time out, sustained race-long pressure from Signature’s Laurens Vanthoor to take victory.
Vanthoor had slipped from second to third at the start, but once he had dispatched Carlos Munoz on lap two he set about closing the gap to the leader. However, once he got there he was unable to launch an attack on the Portuguese driver. Munoz defended his third place more …

Marco Wittmann clinched another podium today, while team mate Edoardo Mortara got his fifth victory of the season in the first Formula 3 Euro Series race of the weekend at Zandvoort.
The championship leader led from pole position at the start, and was able to ease away from Valtteri Bottas. The Finn closed up again in the last few laps, but only as Mortara took it easy to the finish.

Edoardo Mortara (Signature, 1:31.281 minutes) came out on top in qualifying of the Formula 3 Euro Series at the 4.307 kilometres long former Grand Prix circuit in the dunes of Zandvoort. The leader in the points’ standings was followed by Gravity Academy driver Marco Wittmann (Signature, 1:31.515 minutes), Valtteri Bottas (ART Grand Prix, 1:31.541 minutes) and Laurens Vanthoor (Signature, 1:31.738 minutes). Thus, all three Signature-entered Dallara-Volkswagen made it into the top four.
