At the end of 2008, 12-year-old Esteban Ocon found himself in a quandary. The French boy, born on 17th September 1996, was not old enough to take part in the French and European KF3 Championships in 2009. “I was French ‘Minimes’ Champion in 2007 and French Cadet Champion in 2008, so doing another year in the Cadet category didn’t seem to me to be either very interesting or motivating. But the problem was that I was blocked by my age, and that’s why I chose to expatriate myself to discover the KF3 category,” said Esteban.

Today in Valencia (Spain) Jérôme d’Ambrosio and Ho-Pin Tung have been confirmed as reserve drivers for the Renault F1 Team. They are the first members of the Gravity Sport Management programme to move up to Formula 1. The Belgian and the Chinese will race in the GP2 Series Championship this season with the DAMS team. They will again enjoy full backing from the Gravity Academy, associated on this occasion with the RF1 Driver Programme.
In addition to this double nomination at the pinnacle of motor sport, Gravity Management is delighted to announce the names of the drivers selected for its 2010 programme.
