Jérôme d’Ambrosio will start tomorrow’s race in Monaco from pole position. The Gravity Academy driver finished today’s event in 8th place, while Sergio Perez has taken his first GP2 victory. The Barwa Addax driver crossed the line 0.6s clear of Pastor Maldonado.

Gravity Academy drivers Jérôme d’Ambrosio, Christian Vietoris and Ho-Pin Tung will start tomorrow’s race in Monaco from 8th, 9th and 14th positions respectively. Dani Clos will start from pole position after coming out on top in a dramatic qualifying session this afternoon.
On a track that was drying out after a wet start to the session, the Racing Engineering driver produced a late lap of 1m37.572s to edge out Barwa Addax’s Sergio Perez by just 0.033 seconds. The gravity Academy drivers had a tricky day in the sprint race at Barcelona, on the first weekend of the 2010 GP2 season. Jérôme d’Ambrosio and Ho-Pin Tung finished 13th and 10th, whilst Christian Vietoris, who started from the last row, finished in 18th position, after a complicated race.
