GP2 series is go

The sixth season of the GP2 Series opens this weekend in Barcelona alongside Formula One. After five thrilling seasons, the GP2 Series is now generally seen as the strongest feeder category for Formula One and 2010 is not one to contradict that fact: with eleven GP2 graduates on the F1 starting grid, the GP2 Series has clearly become the category to go through when one ambitions to reach the pinnacle of motorsport.

This season also marks the last run of the second generation car which has already proven to be extremely reliable, safe and powerful. Therefore, no change has been made to the 2009 kit. Jérôme is a lucky boy. This week-end, in front of his home crowd, he’s been driving an F1 car during the World Series by Renault event in Spa Francorchamps.

The legendary Spa circuit in Belgium is the latest stop for the Renault F1 Roadshow. We’re here for the second round of the World Series by Renault to help entertain the fans with some displays of the demo car. Jérôme is the man on driving duty, realising his boyhood dream of blasting through Eau Rouge at the wheel of an F1 car.
