F3, Valencia : A difficult race for Marco

May 22, 2010 - 5:08 pm

Marco had a difficult race today in Valencia. Starting from 5th, his ambition was to get onto the podium and to defend his championship contender status. Unfortunately, a broken part on his car from lap 1 caused quite a lot of trouble. Marco dropped from fifth on the grid to 10th on the opening lap after twice getting wide onto the grass in the first few seconds of the race. His car was obviously not as efficient as in qualifying and, as he was trying to get the most out of it, he went off a few minutes later. As he went back onto the track, there was nothing he could do to improve his position. He only had to wait for the chequered flag and hope for a better race 2…
